2009 PRE-SEASON TOURNAMENT

T.B.A.A. is accepting applications for our 26th Annual Pre-Season Tournament which is being held on the weekend of August 28th - 30th.  Our tournament is always a great way to get ready for the new season.  Our tournament application fee, which is among the lowest in the state, remains unchanged for 2009 from the previous two years.

Intramural Information

 PLEASE NOTE:  For our Spring season, all of our intramural sessions will be held on our Valleybrook travel fields just next to Loring Fleming School.

IMPORTANT:  Parking is extremely limited in the Valleybrook parking lot.  For those of you who have their games scheduled on Intramural Fields 5 through 14 (Valleybrook fields 2 & 3A), please park at the school lot and walk down the hill.  

Our not-so-friendly neighbors along Golfview drive WILL call the police and tickets WILL be issued for illegal parking on Golfview Drive.

Our program features small-sided games and free professional, licensed instruction and training for ALL of our intramural players so that our younger players can have a great time while learning the soccer basics.   We thank our instructors, all of our volunteer coaches, parents and players for their participation in our state-of-the-art program.  We look forward to a great season.

CLUB NEWS & CURRENT EVENTS

Our second health and fitness event was held on March 20, 2007 and we would like to thank Coach Cary Huggard of  Velocity Sports Performance in Cherry Hill as well as our partner, The Rothman Institute Orthopaedics, for a great seminar.  Please feel free to contact Coach Huggard at Velocity for more information or to set up a visit at Velocity for your team.

The first T.B.A.A. health and fitness event was held on January 26, 2006, and we would like to thank Amy Boltz, a registered dietician from our tournament sponsor, The Rothman Institute Orthopaedics for providing a very informative presentation.  The theme of the presentation was Sports Nutrition, Hydration and Supplements.  Scroll down to view the presentation in its entirety.  We are currently planning the next event which is tentatively set to involve the issue of injury prevention.    

We are trying to collect a T.B.A.A. Tournament patch from each of our 22 annual soccer tournaments.  If you can help, especially with the early tournaments, please drop us an email.
