T.B.A.A PRESENTS IT’S 28th ANNUAL
PRE-SEASON TOURNAMENT
 

SANCTION: The tournament is approved by the USYSA and will be played under the jurisdiction of the NJYSA. Permission To Travel Forms are required for all teams outside New Jersey (check with your state). All teams must have a Notarized Medical Release Form for each player and an official team roster is required for all team accepted into the tournament. USYSA requirement regarding player passes, travel procedures and the use of USSF registered officials will apply.

ELIGIBILITY: Divisions are offered for both boys and girls in the following ages: U15, U14, U13, U12, U11, U10, U9 and U8. USYSA rules prohibit any team U10 or younger from playing up in any tournament under any circumstances. U8, U9 and U10 teams will be playing on short-sided fields and their rosters will be limited to 14 players, all other ages will be limited to a maximum of 18 players. Secondary carded players will not be permitted. No select teams or teams formed solely for the purpose of tournament play will be eligible.

GUEST PLAYERS: Any team using guest players may have no more than 16 total players (U8, U9 & U10 maximum12 players) including a maximum of 3 guest players approved by the tournament director no later than the night of registration.

AWARDS: All first place finishers and second place finishers in four team divisions will be awarded trophies. In six team divisions first place trophies will be awarded to each bracket winner and no second place trophies will be awarded.  

In accordance with the New Jersey state rules, U8, U9 and U10 games are non-results oriented. Every player will receive a participation award. As always, the exchange of club patches/pins at the conclusion of each game is encouraged. Each participant will receive a tournament patch.

GAMES: each team will be guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games and a maximum of five (5) games. Length of games shall be: DIV. II, III & IV – 30 minutes per half and DIV. V – 25 minutes per half. FIFA rules and international age groupings will apply. There are no playoff games. All games that end in a tie will stand.

LOCATION: games will be played in beautiful Gloucester Township, New Jersey at the Valleybrook sports complex and the adjacent Glen Landing Middle School.

ENTRY FEE: an entry fee of $400.00 must accompany the completed application or $350.00 for small-sided (8v8) teams. Please make checks payable to: TBAA Soccer Tournament. This fee will be returned if a team is not accepted. If a team withdraws after acceptance the fee will not be returned. Teams will be notified via E-Mail of their acceptance on or before August 12, 2011. All teams must provide a legible E-Mail address with their application. Tentative schedules will be posted on the TBAA website as soon as possible with the official schedules being given out at team registration on Wednesday August 24, 2011.

REFUND POLICY: If the tournament is cancelled for any reason prior to the date of the first scheduled game, then TBAA will refund 80% of the registration fee to all teams accepted as of that date.

In past years we have had to turn teams away due to field limitations, so please send your applications in early to avoid being shut out.

Registration for all coaches will take place on Wednesday August 24, 2011 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM at the Valleybrook sports complex, Gloucester Township, New Jersey. All teams must register on Wednesday night. There will be no game day registrations.
